Hokendauqua: Carwash set for this Saturday
Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St., will be holding a carwash 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 17.
All proceeds will go to American Cancer Society in support of the church’s Relay for Life team.

Hokendauqua Park & Playground Association will be holding sign-ups for fall baseball, softball and Whitehall Zephyr youth field hockey at the pavilion on the following days.
6-7:30 p.m. June 19
6-7:30 p.m. June 28
6-7:30 p.m. July 7
For baseball and softball, the association is fielding teams for boys Grasshopper, Biddy, Midget and Knee-hi and for girls 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U.
For field hokey, the association is fielding teams for boys and girls grades kindergarten through sixth grade. No experience is needed. Children will be learning basic skills of field hockey.

Hokendauqua Park & Playground Association will host a yard/vendor sale and flea market 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 24 on the baseball fields.
Their kitchen will be open during this time for food and drink purchases.

On July 18, Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative will have a community meal 4-6 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, in partnership with St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.
The meal is guaranteed for the first 100 guests.

Save the date of Aug. 19 for Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Wheels of Faith car show and craft fair. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., come out to the church for this annual event.
Once again, Faith will donate part of the proceeds to Whitehall Food Bank.
