Clair B. “The Skipper” Hallman, 85, of Emmaus, died June 8, 2017, at the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Godusky) Hallman who died in 2006. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Miles and Annie (Engleman) Hallman.
He was employed at Air Products and Chemicals until retiring.
He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed deep sea and ice fishing, hunting and vegetable gardening.
He was a United States Army veteran who served during the Korean War.
He is survived by a daughter, Beth C. Stottmeister; brother, Miles “Nip” Jr. and his wife Judy; sisters, Christine Schaffer and Joan Ritter; half-brother, Pierce; grandchildren, Brett A. and Holly E. Stottmeister. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Beller.
Services will be held 11 a.m. June 15 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. A visitation will be held 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
