Northampton: Historical society, Quota plan spring sales
The Northampton Area Historical Society will be having its annual spring garage sale in conjunction with the Quota Club of Northampton. Both sales will be held 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 10.
The society’s sale will be held at the station. Donations from the public for the sale can be dropped off 6-8 p.m. June 8 and 9.
There is no rain date for this event.

Quota Club’s sale will be held at Canal Park. The rain date is June 11.
The club will be selling spaces for people who want to sell their own items and also will be accepting donations for the club to sell.
Call Kelly at 610-262-7826 to reserve a 10-foot-by-10-foot space.
Refreshments and baked goods will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit the club’s community projects.

Queenship of Mary Church will hold its annual parish festival June 10 and 11 on the church grounds, 1324 Newport Ave.
Saturday’s hours are 5-9 p.m. There will be a limited menu, including Mario’s pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade pierogies, french fries, baked goods, beer, soda and wine from Soaked Winery. Music will be provided by the Peter Johann Band.
Sunday’s hours are noon-7 p.m. Music will be provided by deejay Liz Flynn and the Josef Kroboth Band. In addition to the food available Saturday, there will be homemade cabbage and noodles, sausage sandwiches, homemade macaroni and cheese, turkey barbecue, egg rolls, corn on the cob, longos, sno-cones, ice cream and funnel cake.
Baked goods will be sold in the church social hall.
Bingo will be played in the Good Shepherd School gym. A cash raffle and Chinese auction also will be held.
Children’s games are part of the fun as well.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ will hold its summer festival noon-10 p.m. June 10 on the church grounds, 19th Street and Lincoln Avenue.
The festival is a fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 93 and the church. Troop 93 is the last Scout troop remaining in the Borough of Northampton and hopes to use this event to help continue offering service to the community and help the church.
Entertainment throughout the day will include polka favorite John Stevens’ Doubleshot, award-winning Elvis tribute artist Jeff Krick, country recording artist Elaini Arthur and local cover band Life Story.
The festival also features children’s games, bake sale, basket social, Chinese raffle and bingo. Prizes include tickets to major local events, gift certificates, cash and more.
Admission to the event is free.
