Dorothy M. Janenko, 90, of Allentown, died May 28, 2017.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Sue (Kakelacik) Janenko.

She was a 1945 graduate of Allentown High School.

She was in the U.S. Air Force and earned the rank of sergeant.

She was an administrative assistant at Sacred Heart Hospital and Capital Blue Cross.

She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was a lector.

She was a member of Fullerton American Legion Post 367.

She is survived by a sister, Agnes Kohler of Whitehall; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a brother, Andrew Janenko Jr.
