Billie Jean (Behrens) Kolesar, 71, of Germansville, died June 1, 2017, in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

She was the wife of the late George M. Kolesar Jr.

Born Oct. 6, 1945, in Lincoln, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Betty J. (Swenson) Behrens and William Thomas.

Her survivors include daughter-in-law Lisa A. Kurutz; brother James Behrens; sister Karen Hrdlicka; grandchildren Nicholas D. and Amanda L. Kurutz; great-grandchildren Aiden and Kensi; one niece; and two nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Donald D. Kurutz.

Her service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
