Mary R. Stengel, of Bethlehem, died May 26, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Josephine (Ventura) and John DeSentis. She was the wife of the late Eugene W. Stengel.

She was a member of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville.

She is survived by a son, Robert J. and his wife Dolores Schock; a brother, Albert DeSentis; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Julius and Ernest DeSentis; and four sisters, Margaret Caravello, Antoinette Curzi, Anne Reichard and Rose Bailey.
