Francisco “Frank” Pinho, 82, of Bethlehem, died May 27, 2017, at his home. Born in Newark, N.J., he was a son of Anthony and Maria (Amador) Pinho. He was the husband of Rose (Cataldi) Pinho for 44 years.
He was a firearms instructor and a corrections officer at East Jersey State Prison, Rahway, N.J., until he retired after 23 years.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church, Easton.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lodge No. 135 of Free and Accepted Masons, Metuchen, N.J.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debby Battista and her spouse Jose of Whiting, N.J.; Louise Scank and her spouse, Jackie of South Carolina; a stepdaughter, Carol Altman and her spouse Jim of Allentown; a daughter-in-law, Dorene Kopesky of Phillipsburg, N.J.; a sister, Grace Viegas and her spouse Manuel of Florida; 16 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Frankie; two step-sons, Ronnie and Joey Kopesky; and a brother, Antonio Pinho.
