Verona G. Bickert, 86, of Fullerton Village, Whitehall, died May 21, 2017, at home. She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Bickert.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Leon J. and Grace (Davies) Schray.
She was a 1949 graduate of Allentown High School.
She was the office administrator at Brookside Country Club for more than 25 years until she retired. She earlier worked in the office of Dr. Guy L. Kratzer.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton. She was a member of the former Dubb’s UCC, Allentown, where she was on the consistory, was a Sunday school superintendent, an adult class member and active in baking and cooking for fundraisers.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Thomas and her husband Jesse J. Riddick; a granddaughter, Jessica and her companion Ronald Ward; a great-grandson, Jesiah; three sisters, Ora “Dolly” Kramlich, Esther Meyers and her husband Donald and Sally Heffner and her husband Thomas; two brothers, Robert Schray and his wife Renee and Sheldon Schray and his wife Carol; and extended family.
She predeceased by a brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Kramlich.
