The annual summer learning program is almost here, and the staff is preparing many fun activities and events! Our theme is “Build a Better World,” and we will be working on building a sense of community and community involvement.
Registration is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 24. This kickoff day will include chalk poetry and group coloring, among other activities, and we also will have snacks for our participants. All ages are welcome to sign up for the program.
We still have some “volunteen” slots available for helpers during the program. If you will be in seventh through 12 grades in the fall, stop by the library and talk to a staff member. We could use your help planning and organizing events!

Scrabble night will be 5-7 p.m. June 26. Our experts are always ready and willing to teach you a thing or two. Are you ready to learn from the masters?

Starting June 27, Disney storytime will be 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday; The Stem Lab 6 p.m. every Wednesday; and Munchkin Music 4 p.m. every Thursday.
This year, weather permitting, we will be doing many activities outside on our lawn.

Later in the summer, we will be having a movie night and a visit from the Wildlife Conservancy with some other surprise guests to thrill you!

The library will be helping the Borough of Coplay celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2019. We will be collecting memorabilia to display. If you would like to loan any items to the library for the entire community to enjoy, please stop in and visit us.

We are now accepting donations for our October book sale. We no longer accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or VHS tapes.
