Alfred E. Miller, 91, of Macungie, died in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elmer A. and Stella E. (Breisch) Miller.

He was a graduate of Allentown High School, Class of 1943.

He was a World War II veteran, serving with the Army Air Force.

He was a tool maker and previously a millwright at various locations, including G.E. and Western Electric.

He was a former member of Salem United Methodist Church, Allentown.

He is survived by grandchildren, Lori Newhart-Costello, Lisa McCarty, Douglas Blose, Kari Cullen and Justin Miller; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne A., daughters, Corinne Creamer and Linda E. Blose, granddaughter, Tara Miller.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
