Thelma Lindner, 93, died on May 22, 2017, at Moravian Village. Born in Bethlehem she was a daughter of the late George and Viola (Schwartzbaugh) Lease. She was the wife of Richard Lindner.
She was a 1941 graduate of Liberty High School.
She was a salesperson at Fairmont clothing store, and worked in the office at Orr’s Department Store and at First Valley Bank.
She attended Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
She was a Girl Scout leader and a volunteer at Muhlenburg Hospital and Musikfest for more than 15 years.
She is survived by a son, Thomas and his wife Alice Walters; a daughter; Nancy and her husband John McAtee; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and George Jr.; a sister, Mildred Behler; and a son, James Walters.
