Anthony W. Garbaczewski, 92, of Bethlehem, died May 21, 2017, at Westminster Village. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Zaganski) Garbaczewski. He was the husband of the late Margaret A. (Dobyan) Garbaczewski for 46 years.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a machinist for many years for Sarco.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He was a member of the Bethlehem MORA Club and the Lehigh Southside Boosters. He volunteered for various organizations and causes.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy and her husband Walter Aschenbach and Ann and her husband David Breiner; two grandchildren, Michael and his wife Martha Clifford and Lisa and her husband Jesse Womack; and five great-grandchildren, Jay and George Womack, David and Roger Clifford and Alex Patterson.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Alexander, Walter and Edmund; and two sisters, Josephine Kuzmack and Stephanie Kirk.
