Freddy Awards area nominees listed

The 2017 Freddy Awards Ceremony will be broadcast at 7 p.m. May 25 on 69 WFMZ-TV and wfmz.com from the State Theatre for the Arts, Easton.

Emmaus High School’s “Miss Saigon” received 18 Freddy nominations, the most of any nominated high school musical production in the 2017 Freddy Awards.

Parkland High School’s “Pippin” was next with 17. Southern Lehigh High School’s “Sister Act” received 12. Dieruff High School’s “Jesus Christ Superstar” received 12. Rounding out the Top Five, also in double-digits, was Freedom High School’s “Peter Pan,” with 10.
