Phyllis M. Hutchings, 91, of Allentown, died May 20, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township. She and her husband, Robert J., would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in July. Born in Lime Ridge, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Olive (Boone) Millington.

Prior to retiring in 1985, she was the chief accountant for all locations of Hess Brothers for 20 years. Previously, she held civilian employment for two years in the Navy’s NYC storage and supply under the direction of Admiral King.

She is survived by sons, John (Patricia B.), of New Hope, Jim (Carol), of Allentown; daughter, Patricia E., of Allentown; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. May 24 in Nativity Lutheran Church, 4004 W. Tilghman St., Allentown. Call 9:30 a.m. until service time. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
