Tillie Sommers, 96, formerly of Coplay, died May 18, 2017, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank G. Sommers.

Born in Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Oleksak) Gladish.

She was a floor lady for the former Coplay Dress Company for many years.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles, and of the church’s rosary society.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann and her husband Robert Seng of Coplay; a sister, Margaret Pritko; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Sommers of Whitehall; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Francis Sommers; two brothers, John and Michael Gladish; and four sisters, Elizabeth Barna, Catherine Nau, Mary Poncharik and Anna Kukitz.
