John J. Nederostek, 99, formerly of Fullerton and Allentown, died May 20, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown campus. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Kiss) Nederostek.
Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary C. (Kolumbar) Nederostek.
He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a Tech 4 medic/surgical tech in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a general foreman at the former Whitehall Cement Company.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown, and of Holy Name Society.
He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, Egypt.
He was entered into the 2011 Pennsylvania Voters Hall of Fame for having voted for 50 consecutive years.
He is survived by nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by seven sisters; and two brothers.
