James G. Danenhower, 54, of Whitehall, died May 14, 2017, at home. He was the husband of Clarice M. (Mohry) Danenhower.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George V. and Beatrice C. (Reith) Danenhower.

He had been in the family business, Humphrey’s Hydraulic Inc. Later, he owned Hose and Hydraulics with his business partner, Carl Deutsch.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Dominic, Julian and Damian Diaz and Robert Mohry and his wife Becky; a daughter, Patricia Chapman; two brothers, George H. and Bob V.; a sister, Pauline R. Lentz; nieces; nephews; and seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Jamison; and a sister, Mary Ellen Heckman.

Contributions may be made to an animal shelter of one’s choice.

Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
