St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is giving back to the community and celebrating Whitehall Township volunteer firefighters during a Celebrate Community event 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. June 4. The event kicks off with an opening worship service 9:30 a.m.

There will be a firefighter’s tribute wall, food, music, children’s area, smoke house, 50/50 raffle, fire trucks, dunk tank and more. Whitehall Township Mayor Edward D. Hozza Jr. and Gilbert Funeral Home director Jay Gilbert have both agreed to participate in the dunk tank fun!
