Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be holding a Memorial Day service 10:35 a.m. May 28 in the grassy area to the left of the main doors of the church.

The group will be joined by Sons of Veterans as participants gather in tribute to those who gave their lives for freedom.

Flags will be provided for children to wave as part of the ceremony.

On June 2, Suburban EMS will be hosting its 11th annual fundraising golf tournament at Southmoore Golf Course, 235 Moorestown Drive.

Before the 1 p.m. shotgun start, lunch will be served. Once golfing concludes, attendees will be served dinner. Snacks and drinks will be provided during play.

There will be a 50/50 raffle and various prizes to be awarded, including a chance to win a new car for a hole in one.

Cost to play per golfer includes a cart, green fees, lunch and dinner.

Once again this year, Smitty’s Maintenance Repair and Collision is the tournament sponsor.
