William T. Lynch, OLPH church member

William “Bill” T. Lynch, 89, of Bethlehem and Venice, Florida, died April 29, 2017, at his home in Venice. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Bernard J. and Anna (Connell) Lynch. He was the husband of Dolores (Seaman) Lynch for 26 years and of the late Josephine (Keretz) Lynch for 35 years.

He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.

He worked in the personnel department of Western Electric for 36 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he was a lector and a bingo caller for many years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Pioneers. He created quill and scherenschnitte artwork.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Susan and her husband Jack Lawrence and Diane and her husband John R. Knox; a stepson, Harry and his wife Charlene Ludwick; and a stepdaughter, Lisa Sampson, all of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren Julia, Amy, Kevin, Elizabeth, Sarah, Katie, George, Jaclyn and Allison; and nine great-grandchildren, Jack, Charlotte, Madison, Jayden, Cooper, Rylee, Jackson, Oliver and Hailey.

He was predeceased by a sister, Tessie; four brothers, Bernie, Harry, George and Larry; and a stepson, George Sampson.
