Career Goals: I hope to one day work in the medical field while using the skills of an engineer. I would like to design custom prosthetics for people with disabilities.

Heroes: My hero is my grandmother because she is physically and mentally one of the strongest people I know. She also had the deepest love for my sister and me, and I hope I could love like that someday.

Hobbies: I enjoy painting, editing videos, fooling on the piano and photographing in my free time.

Current job(s): I am working as a babysitter. I also have a potential job lined up for this coming summer as a ski coach at Mount Hood, Oregon. In addition, I will be working this summer as an EMT after having completed a one-month intensive course last summer.

Volunteer/community work: I volunteered for Vermont Adaptive, a program designed to provide ski equipment and lessons to disabled people for free. I worked in Cordoba, Argentina by interning at local public hospitals, running diabetes campaigns and teaching kids in school about hygiene. I helped raise money for Moravian’s Women’s Awareness Club, which donated profits to various organizations designed to support women internationally.

Likes: I love chocolate, traveling and spending time with my friends.

Dislikes: I cannot stand yogurt and sitting in my house all day.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): Enjoying a rewarding sunset after hiking a 1500’ mountain in two hours while skiing in El Colorado, Chile.

Advice for peers: Do what you love, no matter how good or bad you think you are at it, and don’t let anyone take that from you.
