Wilma A. Mohr

Wilma A. Mohr, 80, of Kempton, formerly of Alburtis and Breinigsville, died May 2, 2107, in the presence of her loving family in her home.

She was the wife of the late Donald R. Mohr, who died in 2002.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Sallie E. (Bollinger) Serfass.

A member of Ziegels United Church of Christ, Breinigsville, she was a former choir member, Sunday School teacher, member of the Mission Response group, as well as a kitchen helper and baker.

She was well known for her sticky buns and the chicken potpie soup she made for church events.

She was a member of the Tops Club, Trexlertown, and a former member of the Seipstown Grange and a former leader of the Fogelsville 4-H Club.

Her survivors include her daughter Donna L., wife of Dale W. Kistler of Kempton; sisters, Elizabeth Trexler of Allentown, Emma Fink of Bowmanstown and Ruth, wife of Carl Hausman of Walnutport; brothers Walter (Sandy) Serfass of Bowmanstown and Albert (Donna) Serfass of Palmerton; sister-in-law Sharon Serfass of Thornhurst; and grandchildren, Rebecca Kistler and Michael Kistler and his companion, Denise Leibensperger.

She was predeceased by siblings Pauline and Dolores Serfass and Jacob Serfass Jr.
