Mark “Jiggs” R. Weaver, 90, of Whitehall, died May 5, 2017, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline “Jackie” S. (Scheirer) Weaver.

Born in Hokendauqua, he was a son of the late Wallace and Rachel (Saeger) Weaver.

He was a custodian for Whitehall High School for 25 years before he retired.

He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

He is survived by two daughters, Janet Hersh and Beth Wong and her husband David, all of Whitehall; a sister, Judith Lynch and her husband Barry of Tamaqua; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Betz and Christopher Gerhard, both of Whitehall, and Rachel Gerhard-Sterner of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two great-granddaughters, Jaqueline and Madeline.
