Jordan Hoffman of Schnecksville was named to the dean list for the fall 2016 semester at Misericordia University, Dallas.

Hoffman, a 2014 graduate of Parkland High School, is studying physical therapy.

She is the daughter of Rodney and Kerrie Hoffman of Schnecksville.

ROCHESTER

Marissa Caldarelli of Allentown was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2016 semester at Nazareth College, Rochester, N.Y.

Caldarelli is studying music business.

Students grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.

Scranton

The following local residents were among the more than 1,500 students named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at The University of Scranton.

The dean’s list recognizes students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the fall semester.

Chathan Univ.

Natalie Ranft of Orefield was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2016 term at Chatham University School of Arts, Science and Business, Pittsburgh.

To be eligible for dean’s list status, students must carry a grade point average of at least 3.5 and complete a minimum of 12 credits for a letter grade.

Miami Univ

Jamie Dawson of Schnecksville earned a Master of Arts degree through Project Dragonfly’s Global Field Program at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

Since being accepted to the GFP master’s degree in 2012, Dawson has explored conservation and education in Belize, Borneo and Kenya, while also conducting projects that have made a difference in the Schnecksville area.

Dawson is director of the Youth Services Agency Nature Center.

The global courses, which count toward the GFP Master’s or can be taken for stand-alone graduate credit, are designed for educators and other professionals from all disciplines and settings interested in making a difference in human and ecological communities.

Because the degree occurs overseas and in web-based learning communities, applicants can be located anywhere in the United States or abroad.

Project Dragonfly reaches millions of people each year through inquiry-driven learning media, public exhibits and graduate programs worldwide.

James Madison

Regen Elise Zimmerman of New Tripoli was named to the president’s list for the fall 2016 semester at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.

Students who earn president’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.900 or above.

Zimmerman is majoring in health sciences and scheduled to graduate in 2018.

york college

Aaron Szoldatits of Schnecksville graduated May 13 from York College of Pennsylvania. Szoldatits earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.

A private college, York College offers more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,600 undergraduate students.

Miami Univ.

The following students were named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

Students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for first semester 2016-2017 are named to the dean’s list.

Schnecksville resident Sydney Lutz, a sophomore majoring in biology, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2016 semester at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C.

To qualify for the president’s list for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and be enrolled full time.

Hartford U.

Daniel Kyvelos of Fogelsville was named to the dean’s list for fall 2016 at the University of Hartford, West Hartford, Conn.
