Jeanette S. Koncz, 81, of North Catasauqua, died April 30, 2017. She was the wife of Eugene E. Koncz for 61 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Skiba) Moravek.

She was a Class of 1953 graduate of Whitehall High School.

She was employed in the office of Drs. Paul C. Balze and Laurence E. Wildrick and worked at Phoebe Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, North Catasauqua, and of the former St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, where she was on the liturgy committee, was a member of the Marian Guild and Altar and Rosary Society and was on the cleaning and pierogi crews.

She volunteered with the FISH program of the Council of Churches of Catasauqua, Meals on Wheels and the Catasauqua YMCA.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kenneth and his wife Andrea and Lynn and his wife Valerie, all of Whitehall; a grandson, Matthew; and a granddaughter, Lauren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Moravek.
