Donald R. Hontz, 90, of Whitehall, died May 9, 2017, in the VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s. He was the husband of the late Evelyn S. (Hushkek) Hontz.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl W. Sr. and Ida (Whitehouse) Hontz.

He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a foreman for PP&L for 42 years until he retired in 1989.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Biancamano and her husband Anthony; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
