Dolores O. Rowlands, 90, of Slatington, died May 13, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Thomas D. Rowlands.

Born Oct. 16, 1926, in Nanticoke, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Sr. and Blodwyn (Jones) Edwards.

She was a labeler for 24 years at Paris Neckwear, formerly in Walnutport, before retiring in 1989.

A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Slatington, she sang with the choir for 25 years.

An avid bowler, she formerly bowled with a Monday night league, loved music and enjoyed being with friends and loved ones.

Her survivors include a son Glenn T. Rowlands and his wife, Cathy, of Slatington; granddaughters Amber Dressel of Pittsburgh, Stacey Rowlands of Walnutport; and great-grandchildren Quinton Noah Berryman, Lila Jane Dressel.

Her memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. May 19 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with Pastor Henry A. Distler officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
