We are proud to announce the library is a 2017 recipient of a $4,000 grant from Harry C. Trexler Trust. With the grant, we will be replacing our front windows and getting blinds sometime this year.

The library will be closed May 27 and 29 for the Memorial Day weekend. Materials due those days will now be due May 30.

The library will be having a fundraiser at Samuel Owens Restaurant 4-9 p.m. June 20. Our friends at Samuel Owens will donate 10 percent of your check to the library.

Stop by the library for a voucher to present to your waiter or waitress.

Our summer reading program is just around the corner.

If you will be enrolled in seventh through 12th grades in the fall and are interested in becoming a part of our “Volunteen” program, stop by the library and talk to a staff member. You will be able to help us organize events for the children.

This year’s theme for the program is “Build a Better World.”

The library will be helping the Borough of Coplay celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2019. We will be collecting memorabilia to display. If you would like to loan any items to the library for the entire community to enjoy, please stop in and visit us.

Donations are now being accepted for our October book sale. We no longer accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or VHS tapes.

All donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at the library during open hours.
