Terry L. Grill, 70, of Macungie, died May 6, 2017 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Mohry) Grill. Born in East Greenville, he was the son of the late Herman P. and Mae A. (Boyer) Grill.

He was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School in 1964. He honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Commendation Medal for Heroism. He worked with his father at the East Greenville Welding Shop for 17 years. He was also employed by the Blommer Chocolate Company in East Greenville for 32 years until he retired in 2014.

He is survived by his wife; son, Ryan T. and his wife Patti and their child Justin; daughter, Tara L. and her husband Steven Chu and their children Tyler and Alyssa; sister, Sandra R. Schantz and her husband Russel Schantz, of Macungie.

Memorial services will be held 7:30 p.m. May 10 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Private interment with military honors will be held at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice or pancreatic research.
