Mary L. Creekmore, 87, of Macungie, died May 4, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Johnnie R. Creekmore who died in 2001. Born in Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Emma E. (Schrader) Harig.
She was an active member of Solomon’s United Church of Christ in Macungie. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Rems Manufacturing of Macungie and the former Clarfert Manufacturing of Emmaus. She was a volunteer at Macungie Memorial Park and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for both the Macungie VFW Post 9246 and Macungie Fire Company.
She is survived by daughter, Patricia A. Yenser and her husband Terry, of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Kimberly Schlegel and her husband Rob, Kelly Schwartz and her husband Mike and Brian Yenser; great-grandchildren, Emily, Cole, Landon and Clayton; and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Harig.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solomon’s United Church of Christ, Macungie.
Services will be held 11 a.m. May 10 at Solomon’s U.C.C., 82 S. Church St., Macungie. A visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. May 10 in the church. Interment in Solomon’s Cemetery, Macungie.
