Eleanor G. Crothers, 92, of Allentown and formerly of Whitehall, died May 4, 2017, at home. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chats” F. Crothers for 63 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Bruno and Evelyn (Jones) Haake.

She was a 1942 graduate of Whitehall High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

She retired from Sears Roebuck in 1988.

She is survived by a daughter, Faye Koncsics and her husband Albert of Allentown; four sons, Barry and his wife Sharon of Edina, Minn., Kevin and his wife Kathy of Circle Pines, Minn., Scott of Center Valley and David and his wife Kristine of Gainesville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service 11 a.m. May 25 at Fairview Cemetery, 2420 Lehigh St., Whitehall, 18052.
