Catasauqua: Catasauqua Garden Club’s annual plant sale May 13 at library
On May 13, the annual Catasauqua Garden Club’s plant sale is back! It will be held at the Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St. The sale starts 9 a.m. and may last until noon, if plants are still available.
In addition to an interesting array of plants, Penn State soil test kits also will be available.
Proceeds from the sale help the program efforts for a scholarship for a Catasauqua High School senior and the library.
New friends and old friends are invited to stop by!

Bridge Street Studio & Gallery, 121 Bridge St., will be holding a Mother’s Day pop-up flower and gift shop 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 13. The one-day shop will feature handmade goods from local artisans, fresh-cut flowers, jewelry, pottery, cutting boards and more. They are great gifts for Mother’s Day.
Kids can make a card or gift at the DIY station!

Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association’s historic walking tour of industrial Front Street will be held 4-6 p.m. May 13. Meet at Tony’s Top Cat, 607 Front St., 4 p.m., for the tour.
After the tour, there will be a meal at Tony’s Top Cat.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale will be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 19 and 20, rain or shine. It will be held at locations south of Race Street, up to and including Circle Drive.
Fee for participation is $3 to defray the cost of the neighborhood permit. Payment can be made to Linda at 385 Faith Drive, Ronnie at 520 Circle Drive, Penny at 809 Bethlehem Road or Eugenia at 817 Bath Ave. Please pay the fee by May 15.

The Suburban North YMCA is hosting the 23rd annual Russell Miller/Danny Danko Memorial Golf Outing May 20 at Willow Brook Golf Course, 1364 Howertown Road. The entry fee includes golf, cart, continental breakfast, beverages, lunch, dinner, prizes and more. The giveaway this year is an Igloo cooler.
The tournament format will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m., a four-man scramble, and also will include a senior division for 60 and older.
Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Proceeds from this outing are used to sponsor families, children or adults who are unable to afford the membership programs of the Suburban North YMCA.
