touchstone Young playwright event May 13

Touchstone Theatre’s 12th annual Young Playwrights’ Festival & Gala will be held May 13 at the Zoellner Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave.

The playwrights party is at 6 p.m. and the festival opens at 7 p.m. The original plays were written by Lehigh Valley students during the theater’s Young Playwrights’ Lab. The show is directed and performed by the Touchstone Ensemble and special guests.

The post-show adults gala fundraiser is at 8:45 p.m. with desserts, drinks, and live music. Proceeds benefit Touchstone’s arts-in-education programs.
