John Micolochick, 87, of Hellertown, died April 21, 2017. Born in Freemansburg, he was a son of the late John and Helen (Kolinchak) Micolochick. He was the husband of Evelyn (Schaeffer) Micolochick for 63 years.

He was an U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean conflict.

He worked for Hellertown Manufacturing Company and later worked for Giant Food Stores, Hellertown.

He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Maryanne; and a brother, Andrew.

He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Kauker.
