Theresa M. Gierula, 85, of Fullerton, died April 17, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of the late Bernard “Bunnie” F. Gierula for 56 years.

Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Martin) Hudock.

She was a secretary at Lucent Technology for many years until she retired.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was a past recording secretary and a pierogi maker.

She was a past recording secretary of the Polish American Citizens Society. She was a pierogi maker for both the church and the society. She was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Federal Credit Union.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra and her husband Robert Timer, and a son, Richard and his wife Lisa (Martin), all of Whitehall; two grandsons, Matthew and his wife Kristen Timer of Baltimore and Nicholas Timer of Whitehall; a sister, Pauline Kebort, and a brother, Francis and his wife Rachel Hudock, all of Hellertown; a sister-in-law, Ramona Hudock of Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ethel and her husband Al Check and Eleanor and her husband George Saganowich; a brother, John Hudock Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Stanley Kebort.
