Tempting as it may be to start planting annuals in your yard, you may want to hold off since there is still a threat of frost. May 15 is usually the general rule of thumb to follow as the first day it is “safe” to plant annual flowers.

There are plenty of other chores to do outside, though, where you can enjoy the sunshine!
