A Northampton woman, a passenger in a fatal motorcycle crash that took the life of a Palmerton area man, has died of her injuries sustained in the crash.
The Lehigh County coroners’ office said Pamela Kellow, 48, of 557 Washington Ave., died at 12:21 a.m. April 20 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.
Coroner Scott Grim ruled the cause of death as severe head injuries and the manner of death an accident.
Kellow was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Kevin Letterhouse, 46, of Fireline Road, that collided with a Chevrolet Equinox at the intersection of Cherryville Road and Locust Drive, in Lehigh Township, Northampton County.
The collision occurred at 10:37 p.m. April 14.
Letterhouse was pronounced dead at the scene. He died of multiple blunt-force trauma.
Police said Letterhouse and Kellow were not wearing helmets.
The driver of the Equinox, Michael Mathesz, 62, of Northampton, was not injured.
Lehigh Township police are investigating the crash.
