Kathleen M. Gray, 63, of North Whitehall Township, died April 18, 2017, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township.

She and her husband Gary L. Gray were married 39 years.

Born Nov. 28, 1953, in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Anne (Lopert) Muhr.

A 1971 graduate of Liberty High School, she attended York College.

She was a receptionist and administrative assistant for the last 17 years at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

A source of inspiration and faith to all those who knew her, family and friends were the most important things in her life.

She actively supported all the many activities of her sons growing up.

Having a love of the outdoors, she traveled throughout the Northeast with her family camping, biking, canoeing and kayaking.

She climbed Mt. Kathahdin in Maine with her family and, in her later years, she developed a love of fly-fishing.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons Matthew and wife, Heather, Jonathan Gray and wife, Adrienne, all of North Whitehall Township; grandchildren Sarah, Emily and Connor; siblings Sharon Rounsaville of Phillipsburg, N.J., David Muhr of Bethlehem; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition, she is survived by her entire Penn State Lehigh Valley family whom she greatly loved, and who greatly loved her.

She was predeceased by a brother Robert Jr.
