James F. Stack Sr., 67, of North Whitehall Township, died April 18, 2017, in his home after a brief battle with cancer.

He and his wife Theresa M. (McNulty) Stack were married 46 years last Aug. 9.

Born Aug. 9, 1949, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Patrick M. and Florence L. (McVeigh) Stack.

He was a mortgage industry executive at the former Nations Credit, Allentown, for 28 years before retiring in 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Kimberly A. Stack of Bryn Mawr, James F. Jr. of Bellefonte, Sean M. of Allentown; sisters Barbara Williams (Carl) of Philadelphia, Joyce Davis (Larry) of Deptford, Kathleen Buck (K.C.) of Southampton, Patricia Clayton of Philadelphia, Maryann McAnena of Doylestown; brothers Robert Stack (Sheila) of Philadelphia, Kevin Stack (Ann) of Philadelphia, Dennis Stack of Bristol; and granddaughters Elizabeth and Addison.

He was predeceased by a brother, Michael.
