Karen E. Cunningham, 66, of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly on April 14 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Marjorie (Weil) Vandergrift of Allentown and the late Frederick H. Vandergrift. She was the wife of Timothy Cunningham for 35 years.

She was a 1969 graduate from Dieruff High School.

She worked for General Electric for 16 years. She then was an office manager at Muhlenberg College for more than 25 years.

She attended Christ Church U.C.C., Bethlehem.

She was a volunteer for many activities at Clearview Elementary School.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Sean of Bethlehem; a stepson, Timothy Jr., and his wife Patricia Cunningham of Coplay; four grandchildren Sean Jr., Timothy, Casey and Madison; and two sisters, Rosemary E. Lenhart of Allentown and Bridget M. Williams of Easton.
