Richard F. Bieber, 88, formerly of Allentown, died April 16, 2017, at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Lorraine (Geisenger) Bieber. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Helen and Henry Bieber.

He was a manager at Phoebe Floral Shop and worked there for 32 years.

He did a lot of volunteering during his life; the latest through the Mountainville Lions Club, where he earned a Melvin Jones Award. He also did many floral demonstrations.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War in a MASH unit.

He belonged to, and was a former elder and trustee of the Morningstar Moravian Church, Coopersburg.

He is survived by his wife; sister, Ruth and her husband Russell Cressman, and their children, Joanne Conley (Kevin), Andrew Cressman (Sallie) and Janet Miller (Mark). He was predeceased by a brother Rev. Wallace.

Services will be held 11 a.m. April 19 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. April 19 in the funeral home.
