On April 29, Olivia Hoeing, Elena Lagunilla and Rylee Donaldson are hosting a Hello Goodbye Soccer Tournament for their challenge based learning project.

The CBL Project is a project students create to help the community. Students throughout the school created teams of eight to 10 people to compete in the tournament. Community members are encouraged to attend and can view the tournament at the Salisbury High School turf 1:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend can pay a small entrance fee. Baked goods will be on sale during the game. All proceeds will go to Jenn’s House, a hospitality home in Emmaus.

On April 20, the community is invited to attend the annual Mr. Salisbury Pageant. This year’s contestants are Nicholas Fortunato, Eric Frankenfield, Agostino D’Ancona, Mason Groff, Anthony Strong and Shane Simononis. The doors open 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door.

Students from SHS traveled to the middle school for the language fair recently. Selected students from high school German and Spanish classes went to explain to the seventh grade classes about the language they chose.

Everyone in eighth grade is required to take a language and two years of a language at the high school.

The language fair allows seventh graders to choose which language they would like to learn next year, but they can always switch once they move to the high school.
