Ronald C. Hoffman

Ronald C. Hoffman, 68, of Schnecksville, died April 14, 2017, in the Inpatient Hospice of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

He and his loving wife, Geralyn E. (Furry) Hoffman, were married 38 years last October.

Born Feb. 8, 1949, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Jean L. (Clough) Hoffman of New Bern, N.C. and the late Charles Raymond Hoffman.

He was an IT professional at Rodale, Grief Co., Capital Blue Cross and Pentamation.

He was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

A former treasurer for Cub Pack 57 and Boy Scout Troop 57, Neffs, he also was the former president of the Parkland High School Football Booster Club.

His love for his family was first and foremost and he also enjoyed time at the beach.

His other interests were music, golfing, bowling, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons John C., Steven C. (Sarah), Ryan D. (Erin) all of Allentown; siblings Stephen A. (Barbara), Janice L. (Robinson) Stevens, all of New Bern, N.C.; and grandchildren Emma G., Kathryn C.

Family and friends are invited to call noon-1:30 p.m. April 23 at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. 326 Main St., Hellertown, followed by the service at 1:30 p.m.

Interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown Memorial Gardens.
