Frank J. Recker, 81, of Coplay, died March 31, 2017, at home. He was the husband of Carolyn E. (Stettler) Recker for 60 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Ignatius and Johanna (Kurter) Recker.

He retired from Lafarge after more than 25 years of employment.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony and his wife Melissa and David; seven grandchildren, Victoria, Alicia, Sheena, Eric, Austin, Nathan and Carter; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Brielle, Blake and Peyton; two brothers, Walter and Alfred and his wife Theresa; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Ernestine Sauerzopf.
