Coplay Public Library: Thanks, patrons, for attending book and bake sale
Thank you to everyone for coming out to our April book and bake sale.
Our bakers really outdid themselves, and many people left with goodies.

No preregistration is necessary, and all ages are welcome to attend.

Scrabble night is scheduled 5-7 p.m. April 24.

Our spring basket raffle will be held 4-7 p.m. May 6 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay, during the church’s chicken and ham dinner.
Baskets will be on display in the library starting May 1.
Anyone who would like to donate a basket or basket items for the raffle, contact the library at 610-262-7351.

Looking for a snack or an easy dinner option? The library is selling pizza kits from Charlie K’s at Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market.
Each kit contains three 12-inch shells, one pint of sauce and one pack of cheese. Extra packs of sauce, cheese and pepperoni are also available for an additional charge.
Orders will be taken through May 11, with pickup at the library 11 a.m. May 20.

Our summer reading program is just around the corner.
If you will be enrolled in seventh through 12th grades in the fall and are interested in becoming a part of our volunteer program, stop by the library and talk to a staff member. You will be able to help us organize our events for the children.
This year’s theme for the program is “Build a Better World.”

If you have any books or DVDs you no longer want, the library will gladly accept any donations toward our book sales.
We regret we cannot accept VHS tapes, Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedias or any items that are damaged or torn or have been damaged by mildew or smoke.
All donations are tax-deductible. Donations are accepted anytime during the library’s open hours. For safety reasons, do not put any donations in the outside book drop.

Don’t forget to stop in and see our new paperback book collection. Books are being added each week.
We are also beginning a large-print book collection; we have several items you can select from. We will be adding more throughout the year.
