Catherine “Katie” Burch, 94, of Whitehall, died April 14, 2017.

She and her husband George L. Burch shared 67 years of marriage together.

Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Paraschak) Gresser.

She was a lifelong devoted Catholic.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband, son George P. and his wife Bernadine; daughter Kathy and her husband Michael Carey; granddaughters Megan, fiancée of Tom Collins; Lauren, and Taylor Carey.

In addition, she is survived by sister Stella Halal and step-grandson Thomas Lipe and his wife Jami.

She was predeceased by sisters Mary Bilous, Helen Gresser, Anna Molchany, Esther Paly and Irene Leibold.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. April 20 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown, with the Rev. Msgr. John P. Murphy serving as celebrant.

Visitation with her family will begin 10 a.m. in the church foyer.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Cemetery, Northampton.
