Catherine “Katie” Burch, 94, died April 14, 2017, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of George L. Burch for 67 years.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Paraschak) Gresser.

She was a lifelong Catholic.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, George P. and his wife Bernadine; a daughter, Kathy and her husband Michael Carey; three granddaughters, Megan and her fiance Tom Collins and Lauren and Taylor Carey; a sister, Stella Halal; and a stepgrandson, Thomas and his wife Jami Lipe.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Mary Bilous, Helen Gresser, Anna Molchany, Esther Paly and Irene Leibold.

Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home Inc., Whitehall.
