Rain, rain, go away, come again another day!
I know spring is known for rain, but with the late snowstorm and now all this rain, spring sports are getting hit hard. Practices are being canceled or forced indoors and games and meets are being postponed. Come on sunshine, I am ready to watch some baseball!
Speaking of baseball, the varsity and JV baseball teams of Salisbury High School are holding a car wash fundraiser. Come out noon to 3 p.m. April 23 to Big Woody’s, 1841 S. 4th St., Allentown and get all that winter dirt washed off your cars and trucks. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from any baseball player or you can pay at the car wash.
The Language Arts PSSAs are finished! Next up is math April 25, 26 and 27.
Western Salisbury Elementary is looking for pictures for this year’s yearbook. If you were a party mom or came to an event and snapped a few pictures, please go to the WSE website news page. There you will find a link where you can upload your pictures to be inserted into the yearbook.
Just one last reminder: Salisbury Township schools will be closed for spring break April 14 and 17. There will also be an early dismissal for all schools April 13 and a 12:15 p.m. dismissal for only the high school and middle school April 12.
A school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. April 19 at the administration building. A curriculum and technology meeting will be held 7 p.m. April 24 at Salisbury Middle School.

The Devonshire drop-off is open April 15 and 18. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
