Janet E. Metz, 84, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died April 4, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Maw) and Arthur Kingston Sr. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Metz who died in 2008.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business School.

She was an IBM data processor for Mack Trucks for 30 years, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Allentown and was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for several years.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice and her husband Terry Clymer, of Macungie; grandchildren, Andrew Storck, Megan and her husband Nate Liberty; great-granddaughter, Peyton. She was predeceased by brothers, James Sr., William, Arthur Jr., Kenneth and Richard Sr.
