Arlene M. Wright, 82, of Wescosville, died April 5, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Wright, Sr. Born in Lower Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Louisa (Peifley) Shade.
She was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C., Trexlertown, where she participated in the baking of raised cakes.
Before retiring in 1993, she worked in the shipping department of Day-Timer® for 36 years.
She enjoyed watching game shows and especially the Uncle Jeffrey show. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting afghans, hot air balloon rides, mini bikes and glider rides.
She is survived by daughters, Jane M. and her husband Brian McQuillen, of Tamaqua, Tammy L. and her husband Mark Doran, of Macungie; sisters, Joyce and her husband Donald Ruch, of Cetronia, Nancy Gambler, of Topton; five grandchildren; one great-grandson. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Jr.; brothers, William, Frederick, Kenneth, Franklin, Paul and a sister, Bernadine Frey.

Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
